1. Instale 2 baterías de 1,5 VAAA en el compartimiento de la batería y cierre la tapa de la batería, luego presione el botón de encendido para encender el instrumento, el instrumento mostrará un valor de 7.00.

2. Limpie la superficie de la sonda antes de cada medición. Si el suelo a medir está demasiado seco, rocíe un poco de agua y espere media hora antes de medir.

3. Insert the metal rod of the instrument vertically downward into the soil for about 150mm, allowing the wet soil to contact with the metal surface of the probe loosely, never pressing it too hard. The instrument will display the soil PH value. For accurate measurement, wait until the value become stable before taking a reading, and take several area measurements to obtain an average. Press MODE button to switch between displaying soil moisture, temperature and PH. It will display "HI" when the measured PH value is greater than 8.5 and "LO" when the measured value is less than 2.0
